Software free of surveillance.

Classic shareware. Modern privacy. Zero ads.

The manifesto

We remember when software was just a tool to help you get things done — not a vehicle to track your behavior or sell you ads. We're bringing that era back.

Somewhere along the way, "free" software stopped being free. It started watching. It started selling what it learned about you to the highest bidder, and calling the exchange a courtesy.

We think that trade was a bad one, and we're not making it. Green Chile Labs builds small, honest tools using the oldest business model in software: you try it, you decide if it's worth paying for, and we get out of your way either way. No telemetry phoning home. No ad network riding along. No dark patterns nagging you into a subscription you didn't ask for.

The old way, still the best way

How our software works

01

Download it

No account, no email wall, no feature locked away to force your hand.

02

Use it, fully

Put it through its paces for as long as you need. Every feature, no trial nags.

03

What we build

Small tools, done properly

We build small, focused desktop and developer tools — the kind of software that does one job well and gets out of your way. No accounts required to try it, no dark patterns to keep you subscribed. Just software, built the old-fashioned way, for people who'd rather own their tools than rent out their data.
